&lt;p&gt;I would need a piece of advise in order to find the best way to connect a pair of Beolab 1 to an iPod. My wife does not like the Beosound 5 we have got presently and prefers to browse directly on her iPod, iPhone or iPad. My first reflex was to use Airplay through an Airport Express, but was told that DAC is not very good and that the volume when starting may damage the Lab1s.&lt;/p&gt;
