Thanks for the response. I thought the beocom 9600 was the one based on the Ericsson phone only?

The problem is the beocharger 9800 has a 5pin connector which comes from the power supply, I can't seem to find any service manual or anyone who has one :( spoken to some b&o specialists and they don't have the service manuals for these.

I found one on ebay in germany for sale, and asked the guy if he could take a pic of the bottom with it plugged in, but have to wait and see. Also sent a message to b&o asking if they knew.

I know the beocharger 9800 was made by a company called Soriq (excuse the spelling) I believe.

Wow didn't think it would be this hard, I know it's old but thought someone might have the details.....oh dear have to keep trying.

Thanks again Stuart

Re: Beocharger 9800 help!!!

Hi Richard

Have you tried looking at compatible chargers for Sony Ericsson phones as this was based on an Ericsson phone from the late 90's?

Stuart

Re: Beocharger 9800 help!!!

Hi All

This is my first post, and i'm glad to have some B&O products :)

Wonder if someone could help me.

I have an old Beocom 9800 with the Beocharger 9800 which a friend gave me.

The problem is, the power supply from the mains to the Beocharger 9800 has some damaged wires

and basically 3 of the wires have broken off the 5 pin connector. I'm trying to work our which colours go

where so I can get the phone working, but wondered if anyone had one of these, they could help me with

a picture of the connector so I can resolder the wires back on.

So basically once again, it's the mains power supply which has the 5 pin connector and 3 of the wires

have broken off, which is what i'm looking to repair.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks all

Kind Regards,
