you will still need an analogue sound connection as dvi doesn't carry sound

YES. And then use the CONNECTIONS menu to select PC on AV4.

I have had a look over the BV 7.32 and have found a DVI-D socket. Would this be more useful in connecting my mac book to it?

Hi guys. Thanks for your efforts. Firstly I don't know how to make a selection from the PC option, it doesn't seem to give me any choices other than just PC.

Secondly, maybe my BV7.32 is an older mark because I don't think I have a DVI input socket?

Any furthr thoughts would be very welcomed.

My 7-32 mk3 works with a vga lead and also on dvi - i do however use it on dvi

Did not know that Tony. I use the DVI on my MK II.

It won't work unless you are using the DVI input of your BV7. VGA input on BV7-32 is for a projector. If you want to activate it just for testing press FORMAT 0

I can't remember if the chosen socket , pc, needs the source settong to vga.

Also, tryunplugging the 7-32 for about a minute then reboot and try the pc option, it should work!

Leave ir source as nil, and also audio as nil you will get audio using an analogue cable into the set

Give it a whizz!

Good morning everyone. This is my first tim on this site but having looked over it last night you all seem to be very knowledgeble, I hope someone can help me.

I have a beovision 7.32 and I want to connect a macbook laptop to it, initially just for the image. I have connected the macbook to the tv using a vga cable and macbook adaptor and all seems to be connected correctly - but no image on the tv.

I iunderstand I need to set up the tv to accept the signal from the macbook. I have located the connections section on the tv and found the list that I can change. The first listing is AV1/V.MEM which currently says it is conected to STB(DTV). The second one I am able to change and save as PC, which I am guesing is correct as the others in the list have no PC option. I don't know what to set the audio socket to or the IR socket?

So I have doan all this but still no picture or anything like a picture.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
