Glad to hear it works! If you need to force it to RGB mode, that will be pin 16 which is usually - in a not so obvious way - described as "fast blanking".

Thanks! Well, that was easy. Should've looked at the manual before asking. The LX2800 still has a pretty extensive manual, which, among other things, includes a full pinout of all connectors. Which also mentions 12V on Pin 8.

A 12V out, on the other hand, can actually be found on the printer connector - so I soldered up an adapter...and it works great!

High level (10-12V) on SCART pin 8 is the standard way - I'm not sure if the LX2800 would have some quirks with that.

So...every time I move I get a new Beovision. I mean, those CRTs are practically given away, so it's easier just to sell the old one and get a new one in the new place. Beats moving those monsters.

This time I got a LX2800 - unfortunately without a remote. I sold on my Beolink 1000 together with the MX6000 I had before; so I have nothing to control this thing.

And actually I don't really feel like getting one - all I need to do is turn on the Beovision and switch it to the Scart-Input. One of these I can do with the button on the set. That leaves switching to AV (volume is not an issue).

The Beovision actually switches to AV automatically with some sources (i.e. if I connect my Amiga 500) - but not with others.

Could somebody enlighten me as to what actually triggers the recognition and how it can be simulated?
