I have tried one at the time to add all the available projectors B&O has made PUC´s for. (SIM & Samsung) Without any luck though. It is a shame that B&O have not made the option to force 24hz through cinema out as they have with 60 hz.(settings possible in service menu) This way you would be able to eliminate cable failure option etc. Adding the PUC for say SIM2 does not give me any possibillities to change specific output features at hz etc., I am only able to change resolution as is also the case if i choose "Standard" as my projector. B&O in Struer has told me that the Beosystem3 outputs 60hz when it does not recognize the connected projector, however adding SIM2 should in my opinion solve this problem. Do you have a projector connected yourself?

Regards

Having searched the forum for 24hz and BS3 i understand that there has previously been some issues with 24p material not beeing displayed on a projector. I have the exact same issue with my BV 7-40 Mk V.

Setup is: Mac Mini outputting 1080p 24hz to BV7, JVC HD-350 connected to cinema out on BV7.

This is my observations:

Feeding BV7 with 24p material from Mac mini, signalinformation tells me that input is 23,98 hz and output 48 hz. Picture looks flawless and smooth on BV7.

Playing Bluray using inbuild blurayplayer, signalinformation tells me that input is 60hz (???) and output is 240hz. Why not 24hz input and 240 output?? (Movies seem to stutter a bit on BV 7)

Feeding BV7 with 24p material from Mac mini in format 0, (projector) Signalinformation tells me 24hz input, 60hz(???) output panel 2. (Output 60hz is set to off in service menu). Movies Stutter

Playing Bluray using inbuild blurayplayer in BV7 in format 0 (projector) Signalinformation tells me 60hz input(???), 60hz output(???) Movies stutter.

What am i missing, reading the previous posts i have disabled any filmmode and judder without any luck. Seanie, i seemed to have read somewhere in a previously post that you had perfect 24hz output to your projector from inbuild Blurayplayer, can you or anyone else confirm this?

Have added all the available Projector PUC´s to my tv and have tried them all, none of them outputs 24hz when inputting 24hz.

Am i right saying that 99,9% of blurays theese days are filmed in 24p. Why then does my BV7 display the input as 60hz when using induild Blurayplayer?

If you have projector connected to your BS3 and succesfully output 24hz to it from any source, please let me know.

Thanks In advance
