Hi Blackrix,

thank you very much for your advice. :-))

I tried to program the LC2, but again it failed.

I found a very small rubber and I think there should be a smal contact rod which should give a contact between mainboard and sensor foliage at the touching dome.

I got it !!!!!

The LC2 is now full functioning by touching the dome and with the remote control :-))))

The sensor of your LC2 probably needs replacing. This is the dome on your LC2 that you touch when you want to operate it by hand. If this does not work you can't control it by hand or program it, since touching the dome is part of the programming. Replace the dome and the contact rubber. This problem is quite common with LC2.

I bought this LC 2 1994 and since this day I have used it only by control with Remote Control Beolink 1000 and Beolink 7000. Dimm and on/off are working propperly.

Now I want to opperate it by touching the sensor by hand, but it does not work.

The programming to ON/OF or for light no is not working either.

Is there an interfering/problem by the software 1.1 at the LC2 possible, and may be the software is different at Remote Control Beolink 1000 and Beolink 7000?

How long have you owned the unit? Have you recently purchased it ? If so, from whom?

Have you ever seen it working?

If it doesn't work from the remote or by touching the dome then you have a few options:-

1. Replace the fuse

2. Make sure you have it wired correctly. If the positive & negative wires inside are connected wrongly then it won't work.

3. It's dead!

For this Light Contol LC2 Type 2131 SW 1.1 Serial No. 10805376 it is possible to operate "on / off and dimm" with Beolink 1000 and 7000.

To operate the LC2 Type 2131 SW 1.1 Serial No. 10805376 by touching the sensor point by hand directly, there is no funktion.

To change the LC2 Type 2131 SW 1.1 Serial No. 10805376 with Beolink 1000 or 7000 into "on / off " function, refered to instruction manual has failed.

Is it possible that the SW 1.1 version is not working with Beolink 1000 and 7000?
