Is your A.OPT 0 and V.OPT 2? Any sound from headphone socket when using cd command?

Yes, it is ML connected

The display on both TV and Beocenter is correct (stating CD). It is only the sound that is missing!

Presumably a ML problem; I presume the BC2 is ML connected? It should!

if you don't have any speakers connected to the BC2 the option should be option 0

Setup: Beocenter 2 MK I on Beovision 7 MK IV with Beolink 1000 remote (previously Beo 5)

When starting the cd there is no sound. If I shift to DVD on the remote there will be sound from the CD. But also TV-position and the screen is "alive" with a slight light.

When starting a dvd there is sound and picture. As expected

When starting radio there is sound. As expected

This is both via thhe relote and drirectly on the Beocenter 2.

The Beocenter 2 is set up as AV1 , DVD, Beocenter 2 MK I.

I have tried to switch to AV3. Same reusult.

I think the option is 2
