However I have not tried this - though if I get the chance I will as I have a 9500 lying around and a MCL2AV attached to a BC2 . I think there will be an operation conflict.

MCL 2 AV a switching mechanism...

Well...unless all this B&O stuff has made me loco....I think i've got a plan that others may be able to use...

I'd love to hear if this is is correct...as i've read everything on this subject available and had many questions answered here...(thanks)...

MCL 2 AV as a switch between audio 2 Audio Masters...

1) Connect the MCL 2 AV as normal with the MCL (normal way..)...to say a Beocenter 9000.....FLOOR 1

2) Connect a 7 pin Datalink cable (which is really TV/AUX. (yes??)...and run that Datalink cable to the second floor to say a Beomaster 9500...

Now when you give the transciever of the MCL 2 AV commands it will feed them to the 9000 until you press "Link" first...then it activates the AUX. imput on the MCL 2 AV and takes IR commands for what is plugged into the AUX. of the MCL 2 AV...which is the BC 9500 on the second floor.....

Correct???

I know...why...but do you think this will work????

THANKS>>>
