I dont think the base model will change much in format.

It might be easy to adjust the product to slightly different shapes, also price point is lower then normal B&O so why not. It might also be possible, just like docks, to design it flexible to adopt to slight modifications like a change in thickness

While I am not interested in thr Beolit, this one I might get if it works with Ipad 3 which is my next since I am still on Ipad 1. For travel, it might be interesting.

That's a big gamble both for B&O and the buyer as the iPad will undoubtably change every 1-2 years...

The launch should be in the near future (March/April). The iPad slides in, it will keep the iPad in the same viewing positions as the current smart cover (but obviously this dock/cover is fixed). The built-in speakers are the real bonus. Hopefully the iPad 3 will keep the dimensions of the iPad 2... It is a bit like the BeoTime: a must-have to some, others will not see the point of this cover/dock as it adds bulk.

Rumours says IPad 3 will be revealed next month or march. Will the also rumoured IPad dock from B&O Play be revealed february or march? No doubt Apple will sell a lot of the "3", B&O Play could sell a lot of the dock if released at the right time. Can anyone reveal some additional information on this new dock? And possible launch date?
