The BV7 doesn't reply to the n.music command unless you have an audio device (which is n.music capable) connected to the masterlink network. If you have an existing BeoSound etc. player which is n.music capable, adding it to the system will give you the requested option.

However it can be used in PC-mode. The downpart about this solution is that the BV7 screen won't go to sleep while listening to music. Furthermore the default speaker mode will be as in video mode (i.e. speaker 5 or whatever is connected to your system).

Regards!

bv7 & n.music

hello,

today was a happy day as I took delivery of a bv7 ! this was a project 5 years in the making. i will post some photos as soon as I get the living room cleaned. :)

however, this good news was accolpagned by a catastrophe. The bv7 does not seem to talk to my beoport ! The bv7 has no reaction to a n.music command ; I have lost music throughout the house. :(

i am looking for a solution, any solution, as I fear that b&o will respond that the bv7 is a video device, and not capable of managing n.music.

i have seen that linkplayer can be declared as an audio master. can this work with the bv7 as an audio master ?

any help or advice would be appreciated !
