&lt;p&gt;I think we need a little more information before any conclusions can be drawn..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Based on your statement I am assuming that your Beosound 9000 is a Mark I or you could tell me the four digit Type number found behind the control panel. You need to remove teh control panel to see it.&lt;/p&gt;
