Just discoverded: you wrote Beolab 2000 Link speaker, which needs special needs for setting options.

So I asume Avant, Ouverture and Beolab 2000 are in the same room.

So i would set:

Avant: v.opt 1

Ouverture a.opt 0

Beolab 2000 (ML to Ouverture) L.opt 5

just to say. i have a BeoLab 2000 link speaker only connected to the Ouverture. will that be the reason why it turns on? if so how do you stop it?

As your systems are stand alone systems both have to be set to option 1. Avant v.opt 1, Ouverture A.opt 1

The Ouverture and BeoVisiona are not masterlinked together. i can turn the tv on now without the cd player turning on. but when the tv is on and i want to adjust the volume the Ouverture then turns on and starts playing the Radio. it is starting to get annoying when i want to adjust the volume on the TV

Hi,

In case your new Avant and Ouverture are connected by masterlink you need to set v.opt of the Avant to 2 and a.opt of Ouverture to 0 to work correctly. The speakers are the connected to the Avant and the Ouverture has no speakers connected anymore.

To explain the behaviour of your Ouverture needs information about your Ouverture's current a.setup option and masterlink configuration.

Remote Control Issue

As a chrismtas present i have recieved a BeoVision Avant and im having a problem with the Beo4. i Havnt plugged plugged the tv in yet or anything. but when i press TV, Sat or DVD my Beosound Ouverture turns on. Will this happen when the TV is working? or will it be cancelled out by the tv and will not turn the Ouverture on?
