Sorry. You have to direct option setting to MCL in the link room.

Press LINK - 1 - STORE when directing the BL1000 to the IR eye of the MCL. It now should flash.

We tried different combinations of Link 1 / 2 and Store, directed to the Ouverture, nothing happend. Guess I will have to consult the Ouverture manual for additional info to understand how to setup?

Will re-check the wirering next time.

In this case, there is no reaction at all to the BL1000 at the transciever - not even a flickering in the LED. Only when pushing mute on the panel there is a reaction in the relay in the X-tra box.

We have had the speakers connected directly to the ML/MCL and the masterlink to the Ouverture, no sound from the extra speakers at all - should there have been any sound ?

Can the ML/MCL be faulty ?

Pressing the MUTE button should activate your Ouverture.

Does the light flash, if you press a button on your remote control? Beo4? BL1000?

Did you check the option setting? Should be set to L.OPT 1 or 2.

Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend with his B&O setup.

He owns an Ouverure which he uses with a pair of Beolab 6000 and a Beolink 1000 controller.

He now wants to set up sound in a second room using a ML/MCL connected via Masterlink + using a X-tra speaker kit. We have light in the IR panel, and the mute button makes the relay click in the X-tra box, but nothing more???

Any guidance from the Beoworld would be much appreciated.
