&lt;p&gt;This morning I have taken off rear cover, unscrewed the VHS Player with the Torx screws, taken it out as far as cables allow and found a sneaky small power lead coming from the main power unit. Unplugged power cable going into VHS, yet left all other comm cables except SCART.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Et Voila!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No more whirrings. &amp;nbsp;Perfect. &amp;nbsp;Luckilly mu old Volvo used Torx Bolts, so had a full set of socket type things to undo them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Problem Solved!&lt;/p&gt;

If the 32 is the same, what happens if you just unplug the vhs scart? &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If I press V.Tape it jusr revurts back to normal viewing TV.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Setup 00 Go, menu just shows monitor, tuner and VHS. When i press VHS it just waits them jump back to normal TV. - No other options&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is there a manual way to stop the power to it?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There must be a plug internally though I have not as yet opened the back.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Help please either to a direct link or some great advice.&lt;/p&gt;
