Now I can hear a dial tone, and when I ring somebody, when they pick up, I can hear them very clearly, but the can not hear me. I think there is a problem with the microphone. I'm not sure what to do guys any advice is welcomed?

Re: Beocom 1401

You (or previous owner) have not unintentially pressed the microphone mute button?
I hope everybody is good. I have been really busy of late with a bouncing baby boy of three months to look after so I haven't had much time for B&O although I have been expanding my collection still!!! ;-) I have brought a MCP 5500 to use with my Beosystem 7000 althogh I haven't had a chance to play yet, baby has taken over!! I don't mind though he his my first that I know of anyways lol. Right to my problem with my phone. I brought it from Fleabay at a very reasonable price and a nice colour (Burgandy) the base is an AV control base which was not mentioned in the advert but was an added bonus! I also jumped the gun a bit and brought one from Ebay with those controls before my phone arrived. Well I plugged it in and tried it, it rung fine then I rung someone and could hear them very clearly, but they could not hear me talk! I tried it again a bit later but had no luck again. Now I love the phone and base it really is designed so beautifully! But this problem is really annoying and making a nice purchase go sour. I hopr this is repairable or just a stupid mistake on my part. Please HELP ME GUYS once again an etternally grateful Nidul
