I leave the STB box on. Switching it on and off doesn't solve the problem - only switching on and off the TV.

In my experience this problem is usually one or all of the following;

1. HDMI lead

2. TV sofware

3. The HD input board

At which point is the STB switched on (if you ever switch it off)? Does the picture appear if you cycle the STB off/on instead of the TV?

My Beovision is about 5 years old and has the HD module fitted. The picture is supplied by a Humax STB. Usually when I switch the TV on first thing I get audio but no picture. If I then turn the TV off and on again it is fine and works normally. Not a big problem but irritating and I wonder if anyone knows why this happens.
