Hi Brian,

there is no way to connect an ATV 2 to the Ouverture, because the optical output of the ATV 2 is DIGITAL and the AUX input of the Ouverture is ANALOGUE.

But there is no need for an ATV 2, because you need only audio not video; pick up an Airport Express (with an analogue audio output to connect to the Ouverture).

AppleTV2 and Ouverture

Hi all,

First post, so I hope this is in the right place.

I'm currently looking at ways of streaming media to the Ouverture and thought an Apple TV 2 would be a good way to do this, so we can stream from the Mac, iPhone(es) and iPad, just interested in streaming audio. The ATV2 has optical audio, is there any cable that would allow us to plug it directly into the AUX port of the Ouverture?
