You need a coaxial audio cable to run from SKY HD to Bv7. Assign port A1-A4 in the CONNECTIONS MENU.

For masterlink distribution you have to connect also SCART from SKY HD to Bv7. Easy. Of course on HD on link rooms but ok.

Hop this helps

Re: sky hd to dvi bv7 mk1

Hi Lee,

its the one I had from you! it is hd ready its got a dvi-hdmi adapter in the back, so i have sky hd and wondered how to connect the sound and how do i send the link signal?

Thanks Nick

Re: sky hd to dvi bv7 mk1

If it's a Mk1 then you first need to check if it's HD upgraded - otherwise the only option you have is scart!

All BV7-32's, right up until the last one to leave the factory, were 720p HD - but the very early ones didn't have the scaler fitted so you could watch things like Sky HD through the DVI.

Sorry if this has been asked before! I have searched and not found the answer, If I want to connect my sky hd to my bv7 mk1 how do i do it? I hear that dvi doesn't carry sound( no pun intended!) and how would i then distribute it via masterlink? Cheers Nick
