I am getting very good stereo repro which definitely changes to mono when I press the mono button

when I initially plug in the unit and select the fm button the green stereo light comes on for about five minutes then it goes out - then I cannot get it when selecting tape, fm or phono - weird or what?

I am getting good reception with the inbuilt fm aerial (two leads from lh socket go inside the set as per other blog pics)

thanks for your help

Re: beomaster 400K issue

You can check the lamp by selecting tape or phono where it will always be lit.
If it doesn't, the lamp may have blown. (I can supply new lamps if needed, also for the dial).

Not all Beomaster 900K had the stereo (MPX decoder) module installed.
It was sold as an optional extra.

when I first turned on the set the stereo light worked - now it doesn't - why?
