In all honesty it will end up much cheaper & easier to simply buy a pair of Beolab Penta's - even if this means selling your Beovox's to fund this. The BL150 amps are the first ones used in the Lab penta range & were replaced with the BL200's & they are now starting to develop problems of their own.

The only way it would make sense to buy the parts & upgrade a pair of Beovoxes is if they were in truly mint condition or if they had some sentimental value.

You need a pair (as you would find on a pair of Beolabs) ideally. Probably easier to get some Beolabs or a better B&O amp, like a Beomaster 8000 or a Beolab 5000.

Re: BEOLAB 150 & PENTA MK1 (Passive)

would i be able to use just 1 beolab 150 to power a pair of Beovox Penta?

Re: BEOLAB 150 & PENTA MK1 (Passive)

Partly.
Beolab 150 is the amplifier section and adding a Beovox Penta will give you an active Penta speaker
but it won't be a true Beolab Penta without the display and the large pentagonal shaped foot.
