Does the Beomaster has the same LINE IN / LINE OUT Connector as the Beomaster 6000? If yes, you could connect your subwoofer there, using a special connector which still provides the IN/OUT-Connection.

Otherwise, you could change the DIN-Plug for TAPE 2 (if not in use) from a constant line out to a variable line out. I have no service manual of BM8000 at hand to tell you where to find the variable line level on the board (service manual should be in the beoworld documentation).

Good luck

After restoring my Beomaster 8000 with new Caps in the output stages and solving a nasty problem with the 7805 voltage regulator on PCB 6, everything works flawlwssly now ! Thankos to Martin again for the Cap Kit that got me started.

Since I have an active Boston Subwoofer sitting around, I was wondering howI could connect it to the Beomaster. I would need a variable line out, since the subwoofer only has a stereo line in or lfe connection. I know, there is the possiblity to connect a line out converter to the speaker connectors directly, but i don t wanna do that.

Yourhelp is very much appreciated!

best, regards, Wolfram
