When you press ok after assigning the connection you then have to specify type of STB so it was Sky TV and yours will then be Apple for V.Aux.

I couldn't use RGB as the Avant won't support it so bought an HDMI to Composite converter and sound and vision both come out of that into the Avant. I did try experiementing with using the optical output through a converter but the Avants card will only seem to work with the SAT and DVD sockets.

Hope this helps

Re: BeoVision 7-32 to Apple TV 1st Gen CONFIG HELP! ! !

I would use component connection instead of DVI.

BeoVision 7-32 to Apple TV 1st Gen CONFIG HELP! ! !

Hi, I have a beovision 7-32 and want to add apple tv. I have just managed to get the 1st gen version as built in hard drive, however my tv does not have a hdmi socket so I am going to opt to use the compoment and rca for sound. I am aware you can get a hdmi to dvi cable and then add sound via the rca but doing this will not drive the beo4 remote?

However how do I programe and control this from my beo4 remote, I had my tv puc flashed with the apple reomte software, please help
