&lt;p&gt;I have(had?) the same problem with exactly one original CD. Then I discovered that this CD, if put into the player (Beogram CD6500) has another distance to the laser lens then other CDs. Then&amp;nbsp;I put stickers on the bottom of the CD (in center), so if the CD was loaded, it was a little bit higher (bigger distance) from the laser lens. It helped. I think the problem could be the laser or CD spin mechanism. I copied my CD and use the copy instead of the original.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If i try this cd in my other cd6500 player in the garage! &amp;nbsp;it works pefectly well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can anyone suggest why this should be????&lt;/p&gt;
