My compliments Mark. As you might know I placed a thread attending members about these video's. Sure I will do business with you soon. Which laser units can you replace, is it just the Ouverture/BC2300 or other units as well?

Hi Leslie,

Yes we put up a few videos to help people gain some insight on how the systems come apart the first few were very quick and off the cuff, I will get some good ones done with better explanations and better quality Audio & Video. I would like to point out that when you do get down to the CDM unit you should be wearing a anti static band and using a anti static mat, I would like mention that if we work with customers systems we wear cotton gloves when stripping any panels or glass doors as this helps in preventing finger prints and any marks on the plastics.

Since nobody has shared his or her experience with this company or gave some direction on how to repair the unit, I gave it a go!

This company is lead by Mark. Mark is also member sellshort on ebay-UK. So I contacted him to repair my laserunit.

The symptons of the laserunit when in Servicemode was that the laser didnot turn on. The focus was just inward and outward but not up- and down.

Normaly Mark tests and replace the laser, but with my unit was something more wrong unfortunately. So Mark send me a new unit and everything works as it should.

I would like to share my experience with fellow Beoworld members, so this is my litle review

My laserunit has fail from my BS3000 and to order a replacement by B&O is about 250 euro. This is not a C2103 type of fix, because the internals are very difrent a (VAM1253 unit)

http://av-repairs.com/ claims to repairs it for 90 GBP. Has anyone had repair his laser unit by this company and how is the result?

I am looking for repair prefable in The NL for a reasonable price (250 euro is not worth it for me)

Pls share you experience with me (PM is also good)
