I'm a long time member of beoworld, not every year a gold, but most of the time a bronze member. Never won anything in the prize draw when I was a gold member, but I must say how much is the price of a gold or silver membership devided by twelve month a year. Drink a pint of beer less every month and you can afford silver or gold membership.

There are members who won more than once and there are members who never won anything. That's life.

Hope that I will win something in the future

Graham,I am sure you have forgotten more than I know about B&O equipment and repairs. I can only read posts about problems and fixes with equipment I have never seen or heard. How can I post about stuff I know nothing of and to that end I do not post much. I respect and enjoy the way a small pool of regulars (you included) help the great unwashed.

This month IT SHOULDA BEEN ME for first :-) .....but it was me who won in April.

I won first prize (Jan 2011), just after I signed up as Gold Member, and I´m a fairly frequent poster. Could not believe my eyes...

Been hanging around the forum for quite some time.

So, it's all random luck. Botty (and Lee) is making a marvelous job and we all should be thankfull.

Absolutley! ...a whole lot moreso than what happened in this past draw.

I thought it was great that a fellow joined up as a gold member the very day of the draw and took home the wonderful first place prize. If that is not proof enough of the system -well, then I have no idea what is!?!?!

For the record, I have been in every prize draw since the inception and was fortunate to have won second place once. I pay to support the site, not the draw -please don't forget that the draw is just the icing on the cake for gold members.

And keep it up Lee we love the prize draw and the work you are doing, and most of all what the forum gives us, Supporting the forum is for me more important than the Draw, but even so, I get exited every time the draw comes up

I may be a 10 day old member but I was just agreeing with Lee, because it sounds like the other fella was trying to say there was some funny business going on with the draw, which is not right or nice. As far as Bronze membership goes I would rather spend my money on buying Bang and Olufsen items then on gold membership which can wait till I have enough surplus cash. We don't all have money to throw away like you do on Bentleys perhaps? I just prioritise my money.
