I have this arrangement:

Using AV2

Assigned DVD to it

Set HDMI to Yes

Set IR to C2

Set type of IR to Apple Remote

Set standby signal to when I change sources (actually seems to have no effect)

Re: Ipad 2 and Beovision?

That was the next step, but since I had the hdmi cable and stuff, I figured I would try to get that working first.

I bought an Apple TV (only 2.5x the price of the special cable mentioned above)

And I use Airplay to cast my content to my BeoVision

Correct, this is the best and cheapest way to connect your iPad to your TV. Buy an Apple TV, upgrade to iOS 5 and you'll be able to wirelessly stream video and photos from your iPad through the Apple TV to your TV! Who needs a cable?

Re: Ipad 2 and Beovision?

thinking outside the box ...

Could someone please tell me how to connect my ipad 2 to my Beovision 7?

I connected a hdmi cable to my Ipad and the other end of the cable to the DVI-I port but was unable to get any pictures on my TV no matter what settings i choose in the beovision settings menu.

I also seems to remember reading somewhere that audio wasn't passed through in this setup, if that is the case, how to do I get both audio and video from my Ipad 2 to the Beovision?
