In my mainroom my BS9000 A.AUX input Will be activated and at the same time my BG7000 in a linkroom just hz pressing one button ón my Beo6 named PHONO. You can also use a Lintruponic box for this purpose.
See www.lintronic.dk

If your BG CD6500 is connected to CD socket ón Bm7000 it should start by the command CD.
Try another input. For example try A.TAPE. Now the CD player should be activated by A.TAPE.
The player must be connected via the standard 7pin DIN cable.

Stefan

Re: beo4, BM7000 and Beosound 5 Encore - need help

Thanks Stefan,, it works fine !

Is there a way to turn both systems together Without haviing to select A.MEM after ?

The same with BM7000 and CD6500, when pressing CD on the beo4' the BM7000 turns on, but not the CD player.

Thanks

Eric

Re: beo4, BM7000 and Beosound 5 Encore - need help

Set your BS7000 to A.OPT 2 and your BS5E to A.OPT 4.
Pressing CD will activate Your BG CD7000.

I recently bought a beo4 to control my BM7000 and BS5 Encore, but I need help to configure the beo4. I have been through the forum but found nothing on controlling 2 audio sources in the same room that I could understand.

Here is the situation

My BS5 Encore is connected to the A.Tape entry of the BM7000

The BS5 is set in CD mode, not N.MUSIC for the music storage.

My dealer tod me I had to use the link fonction (link + CD) to power on the BS5.

When I select the LINK fonction and the press CD, nothing happen, but when I press CD on the beo4, it turns on the CD6500 player and BS5

The same with radio, normally, it shoul work with link-radio, but when pressing link-radio, nothing, and when selecting radio, the BM7000 turns on with radio.

Could you please help me on the configuration, I would like to be able to

Turn on BS5 Encore and BM7000 together with A.TAPE on BM7000 and CD on the BS5 so that ot plays music directly

change from music mode to radio mode on the BS5 only without impact on the BM7000

Turn on BS5 Encore and BM7000 together withe A.TAE on BM7000 and radio on the BS5 so that ot plays radio directly

Thanks for your help

Regards

Eric
