&lt;p&gt;Hope help arrives, I have achieved digital sound using an spdif lead but no picture the box apparently puts out 480(?) 576(?) and 1080&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;do i need to use AV1?, which lead do I use , an HDMI-&amp;gt;dvi-i or the 4 core lead into the y-Pb-Pr?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I realize there is little adv with HD over SD&amp;nbsp;at this size of screen but, I just fancied the challenge, what sort of&amp;nbsp;pi**ock am I then?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My guess is your Humax cannot output hdmi and scart at the same time. This is common with settop boxes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unplug the scart from your Humax (not from the BV7) and reset the Humax and see if you have a picture. Offcourse there is no sound now. &lt;p&gt;Let&amp;#39;s go back to the start - are you sure that it is a HD-ready MK3 version?&lt;br /&gt;Earlier version did not have HDCP -&amp;nbsp;the DVI could only be used for&lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;not copy protected&amp;quot; material eg pictures from your computer.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have the STB set to 720p and connected to the DVI port and my connection settings for AV1 are:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;HDTV: DVI-I&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have the scart lead plugged in (which has worked to produce SD images/sound) and I&amp;#39;m getting nothing. I&amp;#39;ve reset the TV to &amp;#39;default&amp;#39; (from the service menu) before doing this and I have no idea why this isn&amp;#39;t working.&lt;/p&gt;
