can't select "pc" with my Beo4

Someone told me it is possible.

It could be incredible that the dvi can't be access without the "pc" button.

Hi, I have tried this unfortunately it is not possible on the version of software I have on my BeoVision 6... unless I am doing something wrong? But I don't believe it is possible to re-assign the DVi port to anything other than 'PC'

Through the "list" add function I have v-aux available or cdv.

I could use these button perhaps too, if I can assign them to the dvi port.

I have another beo4.

I posted another question about this issue on this forum.

When I use the list button I don't have the "pc" option on this beo4 (not the hotel version)

Could you please, try on your bv6-22 to assign another button to the dvi port through the connection menu of the bv6 ?

If it is possible, I could use the sat or av button instead.

Hi Olivier, The blacks are very good indeed. One thing that has occured to me however is in regards to the 'Hotel version' Beo 4. To display the picture from the PC you will need to set up 'PC' on the Beo 4, unfortunately I do not know if it is possible to add 'PC' to the list of extra options on the Hotel version of the Beo 4 remote.

Thanks for your reply.I have the opportunity to buy one with table stand and beo4 hotel version for 350 euros.So it is near twice the price of a modern monitor but for this price I have the motorized stand (I need it), the masterlink socket and according to you a good picture; not the best but a good one nevertheless.

No ghosting, how are the blacks ?

Hi the quality is actually very good, however the resolution is quite low compared to many more modern dedicated PV monitors. I have had an Xbox 360 plugged into mine on many occassions and the picture always looks sharp.

Hello Everybody

I woul like to connect a pc to the dvi of a bv6-22.I will use the HDMI output of my computer (hd capabilities).

I will need an hdmi/dvi-d adapter.

The image quality should be good.

Is there anyboy who has tried this setup.

Compared to an HD tv, how is the quality (ghosting,...) ?
