Unless the cable that is hard wired into the BeoCom 6000 base station is damaged. I suppose I just need to take it to B&O and ask them to look at it - Boring!

Re: BeoCom 6000 no dial tone - no signal

Have you any way to prove you have dial tone going into the bc6000 base ? I see no reason the bc4 would not work as a hard wired extension from the base station socket.

BeoCom 6000 no dial tone - no signal

Hi, I need advice on my BeoCom 6000 Mk1 which has stopped working. I have 3 handsets all still registered to the base station and although all still work for internal calls between handsets, I can't get a dial tone to make calls and can't receive calls. The handsets don't ring when there is an incoming call. I tried plugging the base station into another telephone socket but it didn't work, I briefly got a "no signal" message on the hanset screen. The handsets are still named and have phone book access. all handsets have a red flashing LED.

I also have a BeoCom 4 which works fine but i want the two systems working off the same telephone number, I don't need the two systems to intergrate, just all 4 phones working. The BeoCom 4 is plugged into the same socket as the as the internet router.

Any ideas about the BeoCom 6000 base station problem or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Michael.
