Thanks for the information. It saved me a lot of time and frustration.

I used the red and white RCA connections in AV-4 to get the sound.

Hi,

This is a common issue with BV7_32: you can only use the coaxial input for 5.1 sound, not for plain PCM stereo.

Do you need to activate the digital audio sockets by changing a particular setting.

This is the first time I have used the audio sockets as previously I used the scart plug only. For Video I used DVI and I get a picture. I have made an audio connection to audio socket A4 and nominated that socket in the AV4 connections menu but I don't get any sound.

Is there something else I need to do?

Any help would be appreciated.
