True, you can set the start (default) configuration for the speakers on newer TV-Sets.

Display of Penta only duplicate one of displays of TV set, doesn't it?

Other B&O TVs of the last 20 years (e.g MX series) don't display volume changes on
the screen = "inside the picture".

If they have a separate display "outside" the screen (e.g. Avant models) these data are
displayed.

If you connect speakers with a display (e.g. Pentas) you'll get these informations displayed.

Using a one way remote like Beo 4/5/6*) or BeoLink 1000 you can only access the timer programming for
the VCR using the on screen menu.

Both 2-WAY REMOTES = BeoLink 5000 and 7000 are able to program ALL TIMERS
(record timers as well as play (start) timers and standby (shut down) timers for ALL SOURCES.

*) you need IR 2-way for the AV 9000 - the 2 way capabilities of a Beo6 are wireless.

Hi Guys,

Regarding #2: The volume level shows on my BL5000/3000 ( and I suppose on Pentas also), but not visible anywere on the AV9000.

@3: Play-Timer on/off for an already programmed timer (see @4)

AV9000 + MPAV9000 troubles

Hi!

I've just bought pre-owned Beovision AV9000 complete with MPAV9000, but I can't understand several things:

1) Why I can't set up audio preferences to "Stereo+Center" mode forever? I have to change the sound mode manually (SOUND -> 3) every time when I turn on RADIO, CD or A.TAPE, while central speaker is switched on automatically for TV, SAT or V.TAPE!

2) Why it doesn't indicate the volume level on displays of TV and audio system during adjustment? Is it possible to change mode, isn't it?

3) What a button on the TV, that's located on the left hand of power button (forehand, below of tube)?

4) Is it really have no timer?
