Hi there, that will explain why when I bought the phone that it did not work and I had to go and buy a new three way slipper as it did not get a dial tone

Only a B&O service technician can change the firmware/software (different from
country to country) of a base station & handheld unit(s) cause you need tools/cables.
Strongly recommended: update the whole set to the same SW version.

here in Austria it's your phone provider who has to "activate" this feature; we have to pay for CLIP/CLIR....

When you store a number in the phonebook, you must include the whole area code. Caller ID looks for the whole number even if your next door neighbour calls you.

Hi all I have a beocom 6000 with a pstn1 every time I get a call it says incoming call rather than the number. Am I missing something bt say it's activated on the line. Thanks
