Yes, you can remove. Use a WOOD BALL (you can found in a brico store for 1 Pounds) and put grill on wood table.

Remember to remove black interior (is very simple, it isn't fix).

After remove sign on grill you can re-paint.

I have repaint in MORE color and whit UK flag.

Thanks. That's exactly why I'm asking if the dents can simply be pushed out.

The front grill is aluminum, and it does come off. Therefore, it would not be difficult to push the dents out from the inside. However, the final results really depend on how bad the dents are, if there are scratches that go along with the dents and how good you are with metal working. You might also consider finding a replacement grill - these come up on eBay from time to time... although I've never much paid attention to the price - so I don't know if they're considered repair parts or rare and exclusive collectors items

I'm contemplating purchasing a used BS1. It's described as having some minor dents in the front grill. If I remove the grill would it be possible to push out the dents from the inside?
