Other thoughts are to find out what's on the outside of the walls the products are on as the cable could go round the outside of the house in a suitable conduit.

Whatever you do though it does look beautiful with the bl8000 either side of the TV.

But I cannot do what I want in my house, as i'm not the owner.

Can only make a little hole in the chimney (that could easily be filled when I leave the house) and go through it with my ML cable.

You could use those to establish a cable connection between the two systems.

Unfortunatly, I don't have any ethernet wall plate in my house.

Failing Vienna's better idea of routing through existing conduits...:

That of course depends on how hot your planned routing for the cable gets. Regular PVC-insulated cables should easily hold 60-70°C, which is already hotter than you can comfortably touch.

But you would need to somehow cover the cable in any case. I think I'd try installing the cable behind the floor skirting, which shouldn't get hot either.

Runnig the cable behind the baseboard is an excellent solution as long you can detach
the skirting easily.

As an alternative, a skilled B&O installer should be able to cut/scratch a "dent"
into the plaster (just above the baseboard) and cover the cable/fill the gap with
silicone/acrylic sealing compound afterwards.

PS: regarding the temperature floor level is a very safe area - heat ascends ...

PPS: ... good time to run an antenna cable for FM from the aerial outlet of your TV
to the BSd 9000 in parallel ...

Sometimes the diameter of the cable conduit is sufficient for a 2nd cable
(e.g. if inner diameter of the tube ~ 20mm).

If 3 times "yes" >> try to pull the ML in parallel to the antenna cable.

(Maybe you'll have to deinstall the antenna cable(s).
Then pull ML and antenna "together" through the cable conduit.

No, there isn't an antenna socket behind the BS9000.

But I just want to put a ML cable between the BV10 and BS9000 to use BL8000 on both systems.

Here is what it would look like:

My only fear is to burn the ML cable if placed on the chimney.

What do you advise me?

Hi guys,

I think about placing my BS8000 as front speakers for my BV10, but want them to be linked to the BS9000 too.

The problem is that there's a chimney between both the BV10 and the BS9000.

Here is a shot showing my living-room so that you understand my set-up:

What do you advise me?

Is there any risk of damaging the masterlink cable with the chimney working if stuck all around it?
