Well, here´s the key. I still use my LX 5500 as only TV and it´s this month celebrating 20 years. If you buy a B&O TV today it have an outstanding picture now and in many years from now. There is no need to get a new TV in 2 years just because the new ones then have 300 Hz or whatever.

Re: beovision 4 85"

Welcome on Beoworld! I see you caught the Beovirus a long time ago.
I saw today in flesh and, oh my god, it's the most amazing tv ever.

I usually hate the 3d... but... guys the 85" is incredible!! AMAZING!

A new standard. Ok 70k euros is not cheap but it's better than Cinema.

I think that B&O has a totally different standard of quality over the other brands. The real problem is that the technology is not enough mature and every 3 months change something... so for the audio stuff every thing is ok (I v the Beolab 8000 from 11 years and I m sooo happy!) but for the video is a little bit different... I can pay a premium of 50% not a 5/10 times (for example for the beautiful Bevision 10 32").

Ten years ago I paid a lot of money for a Beovision 1... but I m still using it and it's perfect!

At the end of the day, B&O remains the best of all over the world, I only hope that they will reduce the prices for the mid level tv (the 55" 3d at 17k it's to much!)

my collection

#2 Beosound 3200, beolab 8000, Beloab 2500, Beosound 1, Beovision 1, Becom 2, Becom 1401, Form 2, Earset 3, keyring,
