It has to wired correctly though & Steve @ Soundsheavenly will make sure of this.

Dumbo question, I know but wires have never been my strong point. I have a much beloved Beosound Century (bought new some 15 years ago and with a replacement CD mechanism from around 2000) and now we're definitely in the mp3 age, I'd like to connect my mp3 player through it. I get the feeling this is possible through the aux socket. But, I also get the feeling that it's a 7 pin aux socket (I should say that the light's not good where it lives, and my eyesight is worse) and I can't find anyone to sell me a 7 pin din to 3.5mm jack. Although 5 pin seems to be feasible - but will this work?

I am quite possibly missing the point - as I say, wires are not really my thing. But if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful!
