Certainly the 2300, 2500, 3000, 3200 and Ouverture will all work. It is a standard method of using Passive speakers in an Active only situation.

Re: MCL 2P does it only work with BS2300 & BS2500?

Hi all,

I bought one of these to use to drive a couple of BeoVox's off of a PowerLink connection, i.e. as a very basic stand alone amp, nothing else.

Now the person I bought this off was using it with their BS 2300 or 2500 - can't remember which one now, BUT I can't get it to 'kick in', i.e. red to green light when I've tried this on both a BS7000 and an Overture.

I've tried various PL cable combinations, and it still refuses to work.

The seller bought another one of these round to help test and this one had exactly the same results - Smeg All!!!!! :-(

So is it just a rubbish bit of kit only for the BS23(5)00 or do I have more problems than I realise?

Any ideas anyone?
