If you absolutely have to use the original din plugs, just about any vintage BeoMaster will work for you. If you go the vintage B&O route, you will need a stereo 3.5mm to din cable, don't worry - those are easy to come by. So your options are pretty broad!

If you wanted, as an alternative, you could clip off the din plugs on your CX100 and get a non B&O amp.

My computer sound gets piped to several systems, a BM3000-2, BM4500 and a harman/kardon HK395.

Since you are only operating a pair of CX100s, I would keep it pretty simple. If I had to buy another dedicated PC system, I would get something small that can fit on the desk with the computer (a setup like that always looks good and plus you can control the amp directly because it is in reach!).

Re: CX100 on Imac

Thanks Evan !

Did you have some exemples of amps that I can use? The CX100 uses 2 pin din..

Its just a matter of what amp to choose really.

Since the speakers are going to be local, just run the line out of your Mac or your external audio card straight to an integrated amplifier of some sort.

CX100 on Imac

Hi guys,
