I'm about to move into a new home. The house is actually 25 years old - so not a new build.

I'm thinking about the cabling and would like to link my products over Cat7. I'm not very familiar with B&O's protocols so had a few questions:

- If I install Cat7 cabling in the house, can I mix this with data as well as B&O's proprietary network via standard gigabit switches, or does it require isolation?

- How does B&O go from Cat7 to the old standard BeoLink so that I can connect to say a BV6-22? Are there special converters or router boxes?

- If you want to carry a picture from say a BV7-40 Master to say a BV6-22, do you also still need to run Coax as well as a Cat7 cable?

- If the BV6-22 was out of the equasion and replaced with a more recent chassis, does that make life any easier based on the last question?

Thanks all for your help.
