The house is actually 25 years old - so not a new build.</p> <p>I&#39;m thinking about the cabling and would like to link my products over Cat7. I&#39;m not very familiar with B&amp;O&#39;s protocols so had a few questions:</p> <p>- If I install Cat7 cabling in the house, can I mix this with data as well as B&amp;O&#39;s proprietary network via standard gigabit switches, or does it require isolation?</p> <p>- How does B&amp;O go from Cat7 to the old standard BeoLink so that I can connect to say a BV6-22? Are there special converters or router boxes?</p> <p>- If you want to carry a picture from say a BV7-40 Master to say a BV6-22, do you also still need to run Coax as well as a Cat7 cable?</p> <p>- If the BV6-22 was out of the equasion and replaced with a more recent chassis, does that make life any easier based on the last question?</p> <p>Thanks all for your help.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
