I have exactly the opposite problem; a mk I master (type 2801) and Mk II socket unit (type 2825).

So, id also like to know whether this is normal...?

Hi Folks,

I have the opportunity to buy a Beocenter2 with a Socket Unit: Type 2811 SW:1.3 and a Master Unit: Typ2 2802. I did my homework and realize that the master unit is a MK2 version, but the socket is a MK1 version. Is it normal? It seems that the system was built in this state, but I was wondering if it's mean that I will be able to watch divx and listen to DVD containing DVD, or if the whole system is a MK1 as the socket unit is a MK1...
