Hi all,

Managed to get a Beomaster 5000 set up at long last and was looking at some of the reference sites and have a question.

The sites say the earlier Type for a BM5000 is 2005 but mine is a Type 2007 Serie 1 (so an earlish one I'm guessing).

Is the Type 2005 a typo that everyone has copied or is the Type 2007 uncommon?

Well, the one thing I can say is that Type 2005 is not a typo because it is listed on the cover of the old B&O Service Manual as well as on the Beoworld site.

I have not found any actual references to Type 2007, but the US version had Type 2012 & 2013

Having said that I did find one reference which apparently showed Type number range 20XX but I think it is unlikely to be correct because we know for certain there were only a few different "Type #" types
