&lt;p&gt;Actually what it also suggests is that some of the best listening is via headphones - the listener perspective is changed but the reflactions are all gone and the decreased sound level means less strain on all components. Just listening to music on my Grado RS-1s - stunning highs and transparency. &lt;/p&gt;
