Personaly I like the Beotime: The Alarm goes off in the morning, music starts... I like it.

Well I suppose you are right!! Not like its any different from my current routine!

What happens now is that my cellphone wakes me up and I reach over to turn off the alarm and grab the Beo4 to play a CD or my iPod. I would really like to get rid of that first step!!!

Personaly I like the Beotime: The Alarm goes off in the morning, music starts... I like it.

The only real negative facts:
- For a 300 Euro Alarm clock I insist on better quality control and 3 equaly backlit displays! I habe 2 Beotimes and you can see a slightly different backlight on both of them (e.g. 1 of the 3 displays is darker than the other 2...)
- touch sensivity is not that great: The displays don't light up if you just slightly touch the Beotime... she likes it a little bit harder

For a B&O product this is not acceptable and if you want to be an attractive brand you should avoid those quality problems: A bad example, I know, but I don't think that a 300 Euro Apple Alarm clock would suffer from such problems becaus Apple (most of the time) DOES its homework!

Ok, that doesn't make me so angry anymore. But I can't help thinking that will still be really annoying.

To be fair the alarm is fairly unobstrusive and can very easily be turned off, I can't see how it is that much of a problem. However it would be nice to have an option to turn off!

i'ts not a bug, it's a feature ...

Who else has decided against a BeoTime because of this? I've been really keen on getting one of these until I read about that "feature."
