In my opinion (and I stress it is my opinion!) only one of the positions shown can possibly deliver the sound in a proper way. I appreciate it's an 'old' publicity photograph, but Hi-Fi has been around for many decades and this photo does not reflect well on B&O's idea of correct speaker positioning.

Bit of style over substance in this case I think.

Re: DIY wall mounting Redline RL60.2 speakers?

Kokomo:

I know they didn't sound to well i the position. As of now they are not in use the are just hanging there while they are waiting to find a new owner.

Re: DIY wall mounting Redline RL60.2 speakers?

The speakers might just need to be turned a little downwards...

As in the catalog from the mid 80s.

I have an even simpler solution. I just mounted 2 small hooks on the wall and hang the speaker on them. I will post a picture of it later.

He-he. I did the same when I had a pair of RL 60.2 -years ago. A very good, simple and cheap solution

I sold them, as I bought a pair of Beolab 5000, and I didn't have the space for too many speakers then. But now I live in a house and want B&O speakers in every room...until now I have BV 4500's, BV MC120.2's, BV CX 100's and ofcourse I still have the BL 5000's -but I sure want a pair of RL 60.2 or RL 6000 again. Nice speakers.

Depending on your wall, concrete, gypsum, wood, I can make a bracket with inclination adjustment and 2 holes big enough for wall screws, the baseplate will be wider, the hook up lips as on the pic, but smaller, fitting the 60s
