I have a BV6-26 connected to a Apple TV (1), and a Panasonic DVD recorder which for my current habits is OK, but I will need to upgrade at some pont in the future (HD, HDMI, Blu-Ray, etc), and today I think I discovered a first pointer into that direction:

I have previously only used the ATV for my music and movie trailers, but today I went to rent a film and couldn't as the film had HDCP and because the ATV is connected via HDMI -DVI via a converter it didn't work, I can't connect via component as my TV doesn't have the HD upgrade so these sockets aren't active.

So my basic dilemma is: A HD upgrade kit would be £600-ish (?) for my BV6, and is this money wasted when it would be better towards a newer/bigger TV?, however if I went down the BV10 route I don't believe this TV has a scart connection? so I then can't connect my Panasonic DVD to it and this then forces an upgrade of this unit also.

On a general note - Is Freeview HD out yet? If not do the current B&O tuners allow for it's future release?

Anybody have any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Ian
