I did this with my former 52" Samsung TV using a Beovision 1 low floor stand and some custom made fixing solution.

The fixing is a metal frame of heavy quality which can be attached to the holes in the back of a TV (VESA mount) and finally goes into the BV1 Floorstand

Normally the matrix of the holes is 40 x 40 cm which is a VESA norm.

If you're interested, drop me a mail, as I currently sell the floor stand and the fixing solution as I got a 7-40 some time ago...

In terms of the BS9000 stand the TV set is def. too heavy and although the stand will carry the weight it will be very unstable in my opinion.

Best regards

Good idea though!

Beosound 9000 floor stand repurpose

I was wondering if anyone has used a BS9000 floor stand to mount a LCD screen? I have not been able to find a proper floor stand for my new LCD (non-BO) to go with the rest of my BO set-up (Beolab1 + BS9000). I was thinking of having a plate manufactured to fit the screen, and then mounting it on a BS9000 floor stand in place of the plate that is there now. The LCD weighs about 20kg (it is a 46" screen), and I know that the BS9000 is a bit over 11kg, so wondering if 20kg would not be well supported by the stand. The stand seems the perfect height for the screen.

The other option would be to use a BV7-40 stand, but seems overkill as I would not be able to use the motorized portion of the stand, it seems to sit a bit low, and not too crazy on the double poles from an aesthetic perspective.

Your thoughts/comments would be welcomed.
