&lt;p&gt;Hi Jonathan,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Seem to recall there was a recent thread where it was indicated that the radio module on the BC1 was part of the DVD unit, which would suggest that the DVD1 mechanism is different. That&amp;#39;s not to say that a module can&amp;#39;t be disassembled..... but that&amp;#39;s the limit of my knowledge.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The DVD mech on my BC1 has died. [:&amp;#39;(]&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m assuming this happens quite a bit, like the DVD1 mechs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have 2 questions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) Can anyone say from experience whether the DVD1 and the BC1 share the same mech?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) Is there a known &amp;#39;fix&amp;#39;, or is it just a case of replacing?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
