You do not use the Beo4 as such. The telly just think it has more HDMI´s so that you can assign them to you different sources.

The PUC is handling the rest, when switching source.

You tell the tv set that you have a expander and you maybe need to update your PUC list so it include Gefen switch, after that you

DVI-1,DVI-2,DVI-3,DVI-4 or Hdmi depend on tv model

Don't know if this is the switch you mean. The RS232 is additional, it also works with IR and PUC is available.

Need help with Gefen Switch

I have a BeoVision10 46" (2 HDMI slots) and would like to add 4 different HDMI sources (SAT receiver, Apple TV2, BlueRay player, Cable receiver). As far as I know the Gefen switch can handle this and is also controllable via PUC.

The model I wanted to buy (GEFEN HDMI 1.3 Switcher 4x1 1080p EXT-HDMI1.3-44)1 is discontinued and now replaced by GefenTV 4x1 Switcher for HDMI with RS232.

- Has someone experience with this new GEFEN product. Can I control this via BEO4 and PUC?

- How do I set it up that I can control all of them via PUC?
