&lt;p&gt;I also have one of these beomaster 4500. When i tested the installation and the options in the connected rooms, i also had to separate the bm4500 from the mains a&amp;nbsp;lot of times. I also experienced this clunking noise so i think it is normal with these units (not designed to separate all the time). What you can do is to diconnect the speakers before you reconnect. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also appreciate the bm4500 for his optical and sound quality.&lt;/p&gt;

It&amp;#39;s always been like that and doesn&amp;#39;t seem to have any adverse effect but I just wonder if this is normal. Does anyone else with one of these units experience this?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Finally, is it OK or should I be concerned (after all these years!).&lt;/p&gt;
